The Hunter With Wings

It Began When I Was Very Little. I found a heart shape leaf and kept it between the pages of my fairytale book. Often, I held and waved it gently on my face, I smelled the mud and chlorophyll; echoes from nature exert an everlasting pull on my heart. One day the leaf crushed. I believed that the fairy liked it so much and had to steal it away. I tried to look for the same leaf, but can never find one alike.

The cedar fragrance, valley wildflowers, falls beauties, ghost frost, all the nerves trembling feels that connect to my heart are the aims - My hunting expedition began.

Winter Solstice

The sun declines to shine
The sky refuses to open up
The cloud turns its color to grey
The earth feels cold and rejected
And, the sea freezes up
The iceberg grow thicker ever
Take no solace to the creatures under

Hummingbirds beg for nectar
Squirrels no where to hide
Butterflies take their last breath
Honey bees’ cluster for warmth
And, the wild wolves shriek their loudest, longest howl
Demand to maintain their territorial ground
Instinctive battle of kingdoms and Mother Nature

A wild biting wind storm
In its most stunning acrobatic performance
Brush and crush off the pines and bushes
In awe of the roaring percussion of nature
And, time hibernate into the darkest night
Find tranquil in the quietude and stillness
Surrender to the mysterious celestial

Light a candle in the heart
Celebrate like the ancient Greek does
Create a soft light and enjoy the cover darkness provides
Draw and expand the circle of sanctuary
And, no matter which path must follow
Say prayers of love and peace to all
May peace prevail on earth
